Doing this little number this year. Should be quite nice..last years tour was a bit on the long side..but was still awesome.

An area I would like to tour sometime, looks to be a good package and very reasonable price Davie. I have not been on an organised tour often thought about trying one.

Yes that is a good price ..me and my wife did spain and portugal on our own last year and the ferry along was over £500 .

We have used the same company for the last 3 years..find them to be very professional and the cost is not extortionate. We did the Balkans tour last year which was fantastic..but a few long days in the saddle!

2017 we will either do the Greece tour or Corsica..failing that we may do the Balkans one again..it was that good.

Looks like a great trip.

Never done an organised tour as I enjoy researching and planning routes, Hotels we do a mix of book in advance and then either pull in whenwe get tired, or book online for the next evening before we leave the previous hotel.

Does work out a fair bit cheaper as well, typically we get Bed / Breakfast / Evening meal for the two of us for under £100 a night as an average and fuel / misc expenses of about £75 a day (two bikes) so it works out about £175 a day plus the crossings.

Those who like camping can travel around Europe for virtually nothing.

All the hotels are 4 or 5 star on the tours. My missus likes that!

We did a similar tour in 2014 with the same company we are using this year.

Cool I just make routes and get pile of folk together and go ::008:: I did Alps twice and South of France last year ::020::

I do 10 days in Alps from Edinburgh about £900ish all in ............never get that from tour company ::024::

I'm sure if I sat down for a couple of days on the computer I could do all our tours cheaper.

However I couldn't guarantee the standard of the hotels, food and importantly secure bike parking.

Plus there's no substitute for experience and knowing the roads in the area.

With a decent tour company you pay for nothing but fuel and alcohol!
