Hi all. It is with a heavy heart that I put up my beloved S10 for sale. This bike was (is) my dream bike and I have babied it since the day I bought it, but unfortunately due to a medical condition with my hand, I can no longer operate a hand clutch and am forced to sell.

It has low miles (3845) and had an engine oil and final drive fluid change done in early September 2015. The bike has been garage kept, never ridden in the rain and never dropped. I have no dirt experience and found this a charm to ride on fire roads. Aside from a couple of half-day trips on fire roads, this bike has only been used as a commuter to my job.

Below is a list of the extras (>$3500) I have put on the bike, all of which will go with the bike:
• Headlight protector
• Rumbux full crash protection (these things are a tank unto themselves) and skid plate
• Yamaha OEM heated grips, installed by the dealer
• Yamaha side wind deflectors
• Yamaha tank bag
• Yamaha factory low seat (original seat included as well)
• Yamaha OEM side cases (mounted)
• Yamaha OEM top case (mounted)
• Heidenau K60 Scout tires (mounted) (very comfortable on road and excellent off pavement)
OEM Battlewing Tires, less than 1500 miles on them

For full disclosure, the right side hand guard and the bottom corner of the right-side side case have minor cosmetic scuffs. The side case scuff occurred while the case was off the bike and being moved and the scuff on the hand guard was when parking and got too close to a concrete column in the garage.

I am the second owner. All services were performed by the dealer (Wheels in Motion -- Chatsworth, CA) who sold the bike to the first owner. The first owner wanted a break from riding and sold it to me with less than 500 miles. Get an adventure or cross-country, dirt worthy, touring bike with a ton of extras for thousands less than the dealer. California registration is paid through February 2016. I am willing to negotiate, but within reason. In person, cash or cashiers check transactions only. Not interested in PayPal, etc., but can facilitate a fly and ride. Bike is located in Moorpark, CA. If interested, pm me or text/call at 805-298-9688. I am not open to parting out at this time. Bike is sold.

Not sure of the medical condition with your hand bud, but maybe think about a Rekluse or similar which would eliminate the clutch?

Bump for price drop.

Thanks Roosterman. I looked into that but won't work for me.

1st off so sorry you can't ride it.
At that price this bike is a steal. I live not too far from you and reposted to see if anyone of my friends have enough brains to make you an offer.
I bought my bike from the same place. Great people. Not too far away from there I saw a 2013 for more than you are asking. I won't say where. (Maybe Lancaster).
Thought the blue was pretty till I saw the Red. Resisting the urge to part with my 2013 for this.
But again, sorry about your hand. :(

Maybe the upcoming Africa Twin DCT model would be a good solution, hope you can keep riding.

Beautiful machine! a few questions...Does the bike have the Yamaha extended warranty? Are the CA emissions on this bike different than the rest of the US? What weight is the suspension set for, different springs etc? I will be in CA after Christmas for the Winter and will keep a close eye on this unit.

No extended warranty, but the factory warranty lasts until next February I believe. I was going to buy a YES, but decided against it when I found out I had to sell. CA emissions are more stringent than the rest of the country so you won't have trouble if you take it anywhere else. Suspension settings and springs are stock.

If it helps the sale, I've only had one warranty issue in the 40,000 miles that I've owned my bike and that was the headlight harness, which they'd replace anyhow as a recall. So for me the lack of the YES warranty wouldn't be a deal breaker. The clutch was replaced but that's considered a consumable and wouldn't be covered. When I had the valve clearance adjustment done I upgraded the cam chain tensioner as a precautionary measure. Labor cost was the same.
