SOLD, SOLD, SOLD!

2015 Yamaha Super Tenere 1200
Electronic Cruise Control
One owner with 8500 miles, runs perfect. I purchased a 5 year unlimited mile Yamaha YES extended warranty. There is about 3.5 years remaining on it.
Has many aftermarket farkles including:
AltRider skid plate
AltRider crash bars
Altrider water pump guard
AltRider CV Jont guard
AltRider kickstand base plate
Oxford Heated Grips
Yamaha Touring Windshield, stock one also comes with bike.
Yamaha wind deflectors.
Yamaha shorter seat grommets to level the seat.
Handlebar risers raised the bars for more comfort, especially for standing.
Bark Buster hand and lever protection is much stronger than the stock plastic ones.
Has Mitas Dakar 07 tires right now with over half tread remaning. Real durable 50/50 tire.
The bike has been absolutely reliable as you well know about the Tenere. Its never needed any repairs.
Its been on 2 trips with me to Utah and Colorado and a little bit of riding around home.

Are you getting out of the ADV riding or getting a KTM?

Bump for a good looking and well equipped bike. Did you make the motorcycle tire shelves in the background?

not getting out of ADV riding, just itching to shop around.

A friend of mine made those shelves and surprised me with them. Thanks for the bump.

Re: the tire shelves: I need an actual garage. The carport just doesn't allow me to set stuff up.

Also, Nice bike!

Is your bike still available. I sold my cruiser to my son. Looking hard at S10s. I’m in Missouri.

Hello, are you by chance willing to sell the wing deflectors? I've been wanting to try a set out.
Thanks

Someone offered to trade me a custom Harley. :D Told him I prefer knobby tires.

But seriously, am I asking too much for this?

I seriously don't think so! I have the same year and same color bike with about the same mileage. You have some pretty good farkles included as well. I am kind of shocked that this bike is still for sale to be honest. Or at least had a serious offer where you could negotiate. I am thinking you may be a victim of location? I know the midwest is not a hot bed for this type of bike. I seriously was just at a Yamaha dealer in northern Illinois recently. The head salesman for the dealer who had worked for them for 10+ years had never even heard of the Tenere....... ??? When I explained it to him he had to look it up on his computer and went....Oh Yeah! We have never had one in our dealership! I was a bit surprised and disappointed at that.

I agree with Terminus. Used bike market just seems dead right now. I see screaming good deals continue to be on the market for weeks with no takers. Gas prices are supposed to continue to rise this summer so maybe that will help the market. Good answer to the Harley trade offer :D

In my opinion, a phenomenal dealio! I also have the same bike/color/year and Love it! Came from a blue Gen. 1 (2012).

My only suggestions is to mention in the ads what you did for break-in. In-other-words, when you did the first oil change, what oil.

The Y.E.S. warranty just sweetens this!

Its still on des moines, Ia CL. Here is the link.

Has had 4 oil changes in less than 9k miles. First one at 600 miles after proper break in and all with Yamalube 10w40. Rear end lube change at each oil change.

Personally I see the value of the extras. I'm hoping someone else will too. What is the point of taking it all off just for next owner to pay retail and put it all back on?
