I think your tires need some more air. :)
I keep them at 36/42 measured with a manual gauge. The Cyclops TPMS consistently shows about -5 psi less than my pressure gauges for both front and rear and is a little temp sensitive. I have not looked into reprogramming/troubleshooting the unit. It is nice to at least have a baseline readout on the dash.

Looks like the front fender is raised. How was that done?

The previous owner raised the fender. Aluminum angle machined to fit the oem fender mounts on each fork leg and at the fender attachment holes above. Simple, stout, and reversible.

It is a great bike, I have no regrets owning it, but will likely regret selling it as it ticks a lot of boxes. I bought it for highway and gravel road connectors which it does with ease. I did a fly and ride to buy the bike in August of last year, rode it home the long way 1600 miles, and have just been doing day rides and local exploring since then.

The Super Tenere’s dirt capabilities had me hooked pretty quick, riding solo 99.9% of the time I've got myself into and out of a few situations on steep windy fire roads in some remote country along the front range. As an off-road novice riding alone, I want something that I feel in control and comfortable on that I feel safe taking into the back country. For now the right tool for the job I believe is a lighter 300 class dual sport to learn the basics on. My wife also recently expressed interest in riding 2up and we have had some great rides on the Tenere, but both feel more comfortable on the lower slung sport tourers we have looked at. The Tenere has been all I expected and more, I loved the Yamaha shaft drive, build quality, and cruise. My riding changed enough recently that I'm pursuing a big Japanese shaft driven sport tourer and a lighter dual sport for the local trails and BDR type stuff. I'm sure I will miss the dirt capabilities while out on a long tour but all bikes are compromises.

The previous owner who bought it new did a great job maintaining it and setting it up. I have a bunch of paperwork and receipts for things done on the bike, owners manual, clean CO title, etc. The 26k valve service has not been performed, but all the basic stuff is up to date. It will make someone a great bike. Ride what you like and enjoy it!

Your logic is sound on getting a lighter bike for the trails in Colorado. Im still not 100% positive I could pick up the ST solo in tricky conditions.

I've enjoyed your photos on ADVrider.com. GLWTS!
