I have tried the search option and have not found what I am interested in about cruise control, I want to know if the 2015 Standard Super Tenere (not the ES model) comes with cruise control. The dealership I talked to does not have one in stock and the salesman does not know if it has CC or not. Thanks

Straight from the Yamaha website for the 2015 Super Tenere Standard:

Powerful inline twin, cruise control, D Mode, traction control, ABS, and adjustable seat.

My 2014 non-ES came standard with cruise control. Other than the electronically controlled suspension the only other item the Super Tenere ES gets that is missing on the regular model are the heated grips which can be easily added and work exactly as they do on the ES.

Only comes on ES models!
Huh? My '14 and my '15 Super Teneres were both standard models and they both came with cruise control as standard equipment.

I have a 2015 and it has cruise control. It is NOT an ES. I did have to pay for heated grips, which should be standard equipment in Canada, but that is another story...

In Australia,

2014/5/6 Standard bikes differences (No elec Suspension):
no heated grips
no center stand,
no rear grab handles,
no rear rear rack.
have small thinner passenger seat,

Same as EU spec, and we get to pay more for the privilege than the US boys (I suspect so do the Aussies, as import costs could be higher??)

I know!! Once you add the extras to the standard bike it's about $500 away from a full spec ES............. but a lot of dealers just will not stock the ES (in the UK anyway)

Bought my 13 with no cruise but I will never buy another bike without cruise, wow did not know they were available without center stand ! That's a very good reason not to buy.

We here in North America get the center stand, regardless of the model.

And because this is a throttle by wire bike, the CC is baked into the ECU, making it very easy to implement across both models.
