Looks great Snake ! Nice job ! Looking forward to looking at your monster pegs in Colorado !! ::008::
Looks like you've already pounded on those linear rate front springs! Nice mounting location on the Ohlins reservoirs, too.

I'm a rainy, hangover free Saturday away from getting my K60's mounted. Got my tusk wheel balancer the other day...Amazon had it for ~$60 and it has the two way level on it that most <$100 balancers lacked. Figured it couldn't be any worse than the HF balancer that I'd more than likely have to find a new rod for anyway (chances are it's bent right out of the box...)

Good eye Karson.

Yea, I got a nice jump on my drive between the road and the house. My dirt\gravel drive crosses a creek about 300 feet onto the property. Going towards the house, the drive drops about 2 feet abruptly. Pickup trucks don't complain. Cars have to slow way down or they can bottom out or scrape their undercarriage. Guest usually don't exceed 10mph the whole way. They act like they never rode on a country drive before. :)

Anyways, in the reverse direction that drop is a nice jump! In second gear you can get the bike in the air. Front wheel about 18". Rear less.
Not sure if the tie wrap is indicating the fork compression when the bike hits the incline, or if it is when the front end comes back down to earth.

Feels amazingly plush. I was surprised to see it use that much travel.
I know this: 4-5k rpms in second is screaming down my drive. It's too curvy and tree lined to catch 3rd. But she just sucks up the bumps. And I can climb all over the binders. The ABS is fantastic.

My XT1200ZR will be ready soon!!! ::015::

The Gen2 flashed ECU and Ohlins should be coming back next week.

33 more days until I leave for CO!

--

One thing I agree with though - Why doesn't Yamaha offer options on their bikes??

I've got one additional option that the fully loaded XT1200ZR should come with from the factory.

K60's... Done.

Can you imagine?

2013 Grey Tenere. Subtly badged with the "r" added somewhere.
Ohlins front and back. (NOT subtly badged. Gotta show where the extra $$ went)
Akropovic can. Tasteful exhaust shield.
Gen2
K60's

Come on. Beats the keck out of the big$$$ for the World Crosser kit. All cosmetic.

BMW gets it. (HP edition)

It would turn the tables. And if it's NOT how you would use the S10, that's ok. Buy the original.

My 2014 XT1200ZR...

Can't believe the difference.

I'm telling you. Jaxon's Skid plate, K60's, Ohlins +Gen II flash. All need to be standard or an available option. Yamaha wouldn't be able to keep these on the showroom floor.

Blacked out cockpit

Few shots with all the cases on... I've had these for a while but they match the new setup :)

Mods have accumulated slowly but at this point are - BMC Air filter, PCV, AT, Arrow header+muffler. ECU Gen II flash.Ohlins front/rear, Baja Squadron LED's, HID bulb inserts, Rox + 2" risers, Pro taper ATV high bars 1 1/8", heated grips, additional power outlet for air pump, Alt rider crash bars, RIDONADV Skid plate, Madstad windshield bracket, RAM GPS mount for Garmin 60CSx, ABS On/Off switch, and CalSci Shorty tinted windshield. Various parts Powder coated black or red. I think I'm done now.

One quick note about Jaxon's skid plates, he has great craftsmanship and I think his skid plates are excellent examples of this... This thing is beefy and looks incredible.

I wont tell you that I was talking with anyone in particular about anything in particular... so I will just tell you what I am imagining is going to happen in the next two years:
2014- no model delivered
2015- cruise control, heated grips, more horsepower, better fuel mileage, more electronics... I think (notice, not imagine) that they may address some handling issues as well, as this will be a big update after a year off.

I have a great imagination, btw.

No red film stripe. Nice looking and you can add your own highlights.
