I'm watching Cycle Trader and the way I look at it is if I'm buying this setup and paper fee is BS. I'm going to try to make a deal with this not included and if possible have the taxes included. I'll also handle the tags by most likely transfering my current tags.
I don't plan to finance so I may have the upper hand, it's been a quite a while since I've bought new. If I trade that may help the deal even though I suffer a bit of a loss on my bike.
Basically I see the OTD price, that they will easily give you by email is a starting point for the deal. The dealer is not giving you the bottom line and as you can see in Cycle Trader by comparing other offers.
Also if you can put a hunk of cash down or pay cash the dealer will have a bit more incentive, at least that's how it use to be.
That's the way I look at it. Of course the best deals will be on any left-overs and hopefully for me a left-over 2014's. :-\
