I was installing something on my 2014 and noticed that with the handlebars fully tightened down you can push down on one of the ends and they'll move. Then I looked at the bar holder/risers and saw this gap. I kind of freaked out till I saw pictures of other 2014's and they're all like that. I looked at the parts fiche and there's a damper in there. I don't know a much about wrenching but I'm pretty sure on all of my other bikes the risers bolted down tight to the triple tree?

Adding ROX risers also added more leverage making the bar movement more noticeable. I don't like it.

I'm pretty sure they are there to address the vibration issue and numb hands that some have experienced. As long as the nuts are torqued correctly then all good. Enjoy your new bike ::26::

You have to be careful when off-roading with Rox risers, I have a set and was riding in the dirt and came off a jump and my bars rotated down when landing. I thought maybe I had not done a suitable job in tightening them down, so bolted them down again tight, made the same jump again and this time the bars ended up against the tank :).
So decided to quit jumping the beast :)
