Bought bike 2 weeks ago, put 600 miles on it, so battery is still new.

Just swapped batteries and saw the OEM one is leaking!

I'm going to see about warranty now...

I know things turned out different from the original post, but I don't think you can ship a filled acid battery. Now if warranty gives you a new one, you should be able to ship that unfilled, factory sealed box. It may need to go by ground, not air.
