In addition to being somewhere on the bike, check your title and/or registration.
The vin # is on the neckpost. On a 2014 model the tenth digit would be an "E".

So I found the VIN, how do I know what exactly model it is? I am trying to order parts for it online and there several models listed.

That shifter bolt...lol.
That will be the same on all of them. The models with a C in in the model number are California models and have different fuel systems and I'm pretty sure the difference in the other models is the colors. Yamaha has used the same shifter bolt on 20-30 different models since the early 90's.How did you get the bolt out?cavenger said:
