Ooh, that's nice! I don't think there's anything out there that can compete on a bang for buck basis.

Damn, that red is sexy!

Yeah, but take a really close look at this page...

At first it looks like there is a 2014 Super Tenere, but there's not... If you click on each model you will every single model *EXCEPT* the Super Tenere and the FZ8 shows having a 2014 model, while the Super Tenere and FZ8 are both 2013 models.

This does not bode well for there being a 2014 Super Tenere, and could possibly mean dire things for the Super Tenere continuing to be offered in the United States at all in the future. :(

So, the ES differentiates this FJR from the regular FJR how?
And for how much additional $'s?

Not a trick question. I looked. But would like to hear it in non marketing terms.

ES gets upside-down forks and electronically controlled suspension, and costs $1,000.00 more.

That's it. Even the color is the same.

Read the "Features" pages, too, to have the differences more delineated, and do a "Choose Comparison Model" on the right side of the page to see them directly compared, including price.

Love the FJR. Almost got one instead of the ST.
Maybe a 2015 Super Tenere ES???? (of mixed emotions on that one: should a real adventure bike have THAT many electronics)?

That would be a bike I would want if I was sceered of gravel. ;D I can't afford two high dollar bikes. To bad you can't rent them like Harleys and goldwings. That thing would be the shnizzle on some high speed sweepers. I have to stop typing my blood pressure is coming up

If a repaint is ever needed, an eff'd up tank or sumpin', that red would sure be a sweet change!

Great - electronic suspension, ABS, Traction Control, Cruise Control......

... if only they could figure out how to get it to take panniers AND a top box it could compete with the other bikes in the segment ::010::

I think Rasher means fitting larger panniers than standard. So far I have not come across an after market set for the later models. I find the standard panniers are OK for our needs, but I do use the Shad 50 litre top case, I swap it between the FJR and the ST.
