I am new to this forum and tried find a thread on what people were paying for the 2014 / 2015 Super T - ES. Just sol my V-Strom 650 and was looking at possibly getting a 2014/2015 Super t ES but wasn't sure what the out the door cost was? Other bike looking at is the V-Strom 2014 1000. Thanks, and if there is a thread already sorry for asking twice.

Thanks.

I traded my warranty repaired 2012 in on a 2015 ES so what I paid would not be valuable. I got a good deal but I have known a couple of the people for 40 years. Also got the best dollar for my 52,200 mile 2012 that I could get.

Extended warranty can be purchased within a year and you don't have to buy it from the dealer you purchased the motorcycle. No reason to buy it immediately and it is negotiable on your side.

One of the members is a salesman so it will be good to hear what he has to say.

I can tell you that right now Yamaha USA has a $2,000 rebate on 14 ES if you can find one and $1500 on the 15 ES. My dealer, Niehaus Cycles has a 15 ES for $13,490. It all depends on the dealer, as you will find prices all over the place. Retail is $16,190.

I assume the $13,490 is after removing the $1,500?

btw and regardless - Neihaus is a really good dealership!

Yes, that includes the $1500 Yamaha rebate and an additional $1200 Niehaus discount. That is $2700 below MSRP.
$13,490 OTD and you are responsible for tax, title and license if out of state. If an IL resident, they have to collect the TTL.

Price threads are like MPG threads, there's always somebody who gets a better deal and gets another MPG. ::017::

That is true, but I find them interesting and very useful for comparison shopping nonetheless.

I paid $13,000 plus TTL, about $13,880 OTD, for a nine month old 14 ES with 7,000 miles on it but it had the factory side cases and top case already installed. I added the 4yr YESS for $389.

Sticker Price 16.4k for the ES + TTL. I just sold my house and moved to dallas. Have been riding 1983 goldwing since 2009 and ready to buy this bike for 5 years. Just wanted the bike, didnt care about price. Worth every penny at sticker price, this was a long term investment for me, I plan to have this for many years and dont have to worry about what the previous owner did. Worth the extra right there. ::021:: Just get one at any price and you will have a great deal on two wheels already.

Been looking and shopping for a while and am finding '14 ES's for around $12K, '15 ES's for under $13K and '14 non-ES's getting close to $10K. Still haven't bit yet though.

I paid $15,600 out the door including tax, license, documentation, delivery and dealer set up charges for my 2015 ES back in June.
