Does anyone know if any changes were made to the front seat for the 2014/2015 model year bikes? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. Does the shape of the two seats seem to be the same? Slope, width, etc.?

I have a 2014, I'm pretty sure that I read that the 2014 seat isn't as sloped as the previous seat, perhaps someone will chime in with a definite answer

Just did a search on-line, and it appears that the OEM seat part number changes with the 2014 model year. This does not necessarily mean that the shape/slope changed significantly, but there must be at least some differences.

I have a 2014 ES, and I am considering the purchase of a Sargent seat. So far I have only been able to find comparisons of the Sargent to the original (pre-2014) seats. I would really appreciate any comparisons of the Sargent to the 2014/2015 seats.

I had a 2014, and now have a 2015. I have a Sargent seat that was/is used on both.
It seems wider, firmer (supportive) and flater than Oem to me.

A new part number can simply indicate a new supplier.

I had a Sargent and didn't like it because it sat me too far back. I think it works for big riders but at 5'7" it didn't work at all for me.

Price :question: ::008:: ::025::

To answer the original post I tried Sargent seats and didn't like them as I found the seat material too slippery, although they looked great were very well made and basically comfy :)

Thanks for the various comments. I may try the Sargent seat and see if it works for me.
