2013 Tenere - Pricing

Hello all,

I am in the market to purchase a new Super Tenere very soon and I have my heart set on the 2013 "white" color. Now that I'm ready, I am wanting to get an idea as to what is a good deal on a new Tenere and I see that there is an ongoing thread with 2012 left over pricing but I didn't really see anything for 2013 going rates. Does anyone have any insight as to what they've paid for a 2013 model lately? I'm in the Central Texas area.

Those figures are between 10-15% off MSRP. You could use that as a ballpark for working with your dealer. You could go on ebay and use the dealer prices there as a lowball offer and go up from there. 10-15% off MSRP seems like a reasonable final price in this economy and season. If you have more than one dealer in your area ask them for their best price and pit them against each other. In the end you might want to pay a bit more to your local dealer so you have a good relationship when it's time for service or parts (if that's important to you).

Call either D&H in Cullman, Alabama or Romney Cycle in Romney WV. They are generally the lowest and anything that even approaches either would be good.

that is the final price of the base bike at the dealer excluding: OEM farkles, extended warranty, tax and dmv.

I would be VERY happy to land a matte gray 2013 for $13500 + tax/title/reg. If anyone knows of a dealer in the greater Northeastern US that is willing to deal, I'm all ears.

Islandpowersports.com located in Massapequa, NY. I have no interest or affiliation with them. I got 2 teneres from them and it was no bullshit straight deals. Ask for Danny. Numbers to discuss with them should be right around 13,3 for a base 2013. If you want to pay 13,5 you can offer it to them as a sign of good faith, I am sure they won't mind ::013::

The 12,999 is not including TTL. He is the type of guy that doesn't mind shipping a bike, so don't count him out(this goes for anyone searching for a ten). He told me the last time I asked that $500 gets it about anywhere in the continental US.

I am not sure if they still have it, but Tejas Motorsports had a 12 black, new, at 11,499 plust TTL which in your case will not apply. By the way, they were charging for setup. For a Texan the OTD was about 12,500

the TTL applies to everyone, you just pay your states fees when purchasing from an out of state dealer. I just want to clarify that for budgeting purposes.

As Checkwrecks said... call Larry at Romney Cycles, I doubt you'll do better anywhere in the northeast... or maybe, anywhere in the country. Great guys to deal with too.

I stopped in at the dealer in Shawnee, OK two weeks ago. He had two white ones on the floor. He priced them to me $12,800 OTD. He also said he had a gray one in the crate. Nice dealership there. Lots of bikes! ::022::
