Maintenance:
Oil and filter have been changed every 3-4,000 miles after initial break in oil change. (Just changed at 17,000 miles).
Spark plugs were replaced at 10,000 miles.
Final Gear oil was changed at 10,000 miles.
Tires were just put on 200 miles ago.
I have 2 additional sets of tires you can have as well: Pilot Road 2 and Shinko 705s
History:
I purchased the bike new in Port Huron, OH and rode it back to Knoxville, TN. Between purchase in March 2012 and September 2013, it was used as a commuter. On the weekends, I took it around the area, mostly forest service roads. In September, 2013, I took it on a ~7,000 mile journey to the West Coast and back which lasted 2 weeks. Since returning from that ride, I haven’t ridden it much. I figure, if it’s going to sit in my garage, it’s better off with someone else who will ride it.
This bike has never been dropped, laid down, or even scratched.
