I know, Rod ;)

I think both of us have determined(or convinced ourselves) that the Tenere is going to be one Hell of a bike, and I for one figure I won't be needing much else from now on. My situation is not as tight as Rod's (for good reason on his part), but would like to clear the garage and borrow as little as possible to get the new bike.

I realize this all sounds like a mutual admiration society, but both of us are anal (Rod perhaps a bit more than I) and neither of us seems to find any gain in dishonestly.

All three of our bikes are priced well within market. There will be no disappointments, that's for sure.

If I was a rich guy, I wouldn't sell either of my bikes, but I'm not, so they go.

Clean and green. I like the green on those bikes. I almost pulled the trigger on a Versys 2 years back. fun bikes!

You should have no problem selling.

Good looking bike. If it wasn't for the upcoming purchase of the ST, I'd be all over this. Hope it finds a good home soon.

Ahhh... the price of not doing my homework. It seems that around home here this bike is being marketed at a slightly higher price. However, for my friends here, I'll stick to the offer for one week. Mind you, I'm a little less inclined to dicker now, so the price will be somewhat firm.

One week from today, I'll re-list at a slightly higher price.

No pressure, but I'd really like a little cash in hand when my S-Ten comes in.

Be nice if it found a new home before the Tenere comes in, so no price hike and I encourage even silly offers, you just never know. Don't worry about coming off as a cheapskate opportunist :))

Paul,
The market seems really slow around here lately. Maybe everyone thinks it's too hot to ride!!!

Good luck with your sale!!

Yeah, it seems so. Fortunately, I can still do the S-10 without selling the Versys. I'd probably go to $4500 just to avoid having the extra bike around.

Hmm...heat?? Maybe that's it.

I do like that green, and I've always liked the Versys. But if I get an S10, I'm hoping it will become possible to turn myself back into a one-bike rider.
