Ready to buy a Super Tenere after much thought and reading. I am shopping. A dealer in CA states a $2000 rebate on a 2014. Anyone know if this is from Yamaha or is this a sales tactic???

If it's a '14 non ES, That should get you down to 13,090 from MSRP. Now through in the 500 cash back and it's at 12,590 which is a pretty common street price these days. I got mine for less so ensure you don't pay set up or freight.

Seen your deal in another thread and requested a PM on it. Thanks
Non ES
I've looked at Yamaha's website.

This dealer has ridiculous freight and set up charges. I'm thinking this is why they claim the rebate. I thought the salesman said it was from Yamaha though. I'll have to ask again. Guess I'm anxious.

I was told by a dealer that there is $500 Customer Cash Back and a $1500 dollar dealer incentive. Some dealers will pass on the savings to you and some may not. I found the both types in Oklahoma.

Does anyone know how long this offer is good for? I'm looking to upgrade to a 2014/15
