Finally got to go for a 150+ mile ride today. I still have two feet of snow in my yard, in upstate New York, but my driveway is finally clear of ice/snow. I found the stock bars, on my 2014 ES ok but wanted to try a 2" bar rise so that I sat up a bit more straight. I am 6'2" tall. It made a great bit of difference for me. Being able to have all the different adjustments really helped. So, if you feel just a bit bent over you might give this a try. It took some of the strain off the lower part of my back and being "older" that is a big deal.

I did buy the longer cables from Jason. I would strongly suggest it. I am not one for trying to save a buck when it comes to my bike. The Rox risers are very god. I have had them on other bikes.

I have the 30mm risers on mine and they make a huge difference with absolutely no cable or hose length issues. I may go for the longer cable & hose route next winter with an even higher lift, but for now 30mm is fine.

Do you find that having the bars higher prevents you from shifting forward hard during aggressive braking?

6ft 3ins that's a good height, I'm 5ft 8ins and 2 inch risers would probably seem like Ape Hangers for me :D

I've not noticed any difference other than the bike's more comfy ::008::

There is a posting for the off the road risers out of Germany that I really like. They are milled to match the current bar clamps and are extremely comfortable for my 6'2" frame.
