I need some feedback from you guys and girls. I'm already thinking of the cold weather riding (because I LOVE it!) and I am going to get a heated vest this year. The problem is I have heated Gerbing gloves which I really like and I also have heated grips (redundant).

If you had to make a choice, would you keep the gloves or the grips?

The wiring is not an issue because I'll have to wire the vest anyway.

Told you, 1st world problem. I pray the rest of world would have only these things to worry about.

Gloves, like anything it is hard to find a set of gloves that fits ya just so.

Lets hope the rest of the world does not have to worry about heated gloves, I like the tropics ;D

Heated grips do not heat the back side of the hands. The grips only heat the palm and fingers of the hands.

I would keep both.

Enjoy to have the heated grips on medium on cool mornings/evenings. Can't do that with heated gloves.

No sense in not keeping both. I know you said heated vest, but since you have to do the wiring anyway, I'd recommend a jacket. I have the Warm N Safe, and it has a separate circuit for the gloves, already there and ready to go.

Thanks guys I'll keep both. I did find last spring when it rained and I didn't have my waterproof gloves, the grips will make your hands feel like in a sauna through the wet gloves.

Too late for the jacket idea , though. I just bought a Goretex winter jacket. I like layering because of the options. A vest will have to do.

Thanks again!

::008:: That's the way I roll all winter long. Makes things very comfy.

If I could only have one it would be the grips. Use them 8 months out of the year. At most use the gloves 4 months a year and they are a hassle to thread through the jacket and plug in. Fortunately I'm not limited to only one.
