One of the reflectors inside one of the Rigid fog / driving lights became loose. I removed the lens to see what was going on, maybe add a little glue. I broke one of the little projector lenses in the process. I emailed Rigid asking if I could purchase a replacement lens. They couldn't do that, but they did send me out a brand new set of lights! Even though I admitted it was my fault. And even though I bought the bike used with the lights already on it, with no receipt.

I had to confirm that what customer service was telling me was true. I only had to drill through the lens of the busted light and send them pics...

Thanks Rigid! I appreciate the amazing watranty and customer service!

im a big fan of rigid lights .... have 5 mounted on my tenere...
5 lights? How are you powering those?
I am considering a Rigid light bar to install under my headlights on my '23. They, as well as other manufacturers, have small 6 LED light bars that measure to fit perfectly in that space.
I also want to run a Denali sound bomb horn.
Are you guys using anything like these, from Eastern Beaver.

I don't mind wrenching on my bike, but when it comes to electronics, I ask.

could be a ufo for sure ... the 4 lights on the front of the bike , 2 broad beam ( angled to the side to light up the ditches and not to dazzle cars and 2 spots (aimed for maximum distance ) but are slaved to high beam switch . so when I toggle high beams the spots come on too. or I can push a disconnect button to leave them turned off. the 5th light is a "A" series (if I remember correctly ) its a single led light in red (400 lumens ) attached to rear fender below tail light , it activates with the brakes (so its off till its on ) hopefully to catch the eye of the drivers as they look at there phones.
the LED lights do not draw a lot of power ,so no issues with that being a problem . I also replaced the stock head light bulbs and installed Cyclops . so more light and less power draw there .

so the front lights are "D"series , affordable and they last . each pod draws 30 watts X 4 120 watts when on . the little "A" series does not even list a draw . the "D" series has each pod rated at 3168 lumens of lights X 4 is 12672 . the Cyclops as a pair put out 5000 lumens . grand total of 17672 lumens of light to better see the world with .
the Yamaha system ( just guessing ) makes around 600 watts of power . the old headlight bulbs used 110 or 120 , and by replacing them with LED its a wash . and after having them on my tenere bikes since 2012 , never had a power issue .

Hey that is good news. It is not often you hear of a manufacturer standing behind their product like that. I may have to look into the Rigid lighting if I ever need to change my set up. I had some Denali lights that kept failing and I kept sending them back for replacement or repair but they kept sending me the same lights back. I trashed them. I had to have lights so I put some tractor lights on it turned out to see deer on the side of the road and some small cheap LED lights under the head lights that are wired into the high beam. It is a great set up for me. I have been told my bike looks like a spider coming up the road at them. haha.
