I was riding my wife's new '15 non-ES last night. Was romping it through the gears and seemed to hit a wall at 117ish mph. Is it electronically limited or aerodynamically limited? No wind, flat road, 80 degree ambient air temp, no bags, 100% stock bike running 92 octane fuel.

I can't imagine this bike not having cruise control. I use it all the time. I'm sure it's already saved me from a ticket or two. I feel bad for my wife following me without it. I remember how much I loved it on my '02 Goldwing.

Bought two new bikes this week. A new-in-box 2013 V-Strom 650 Adventure for my wife and a new 2014 Super Tenere ES for me. We had a pair of 650 V-Stroms from '06 through '12. She has been riding '05 FZ6, me '05 FJR for the past few years. Great forum here!
