    ES Fork Springs

So I'm on a quest for a stiffer fork spring for my 2015 ES. I'm talking to a couple of suspension guys about custom wound springs. If anybody is interested, here's the measurements of the stock spring. I don't know the rate and have no way to measure it, but I'm assuming that it's sprung for an...

    Pitting on forks

I had bad pitting on my forks. Enough to cause a leak. Mine were replaced under warranty. I'm in Canada btw. I think the cause was using neoprene fork covers that held in crud and corruption.

    Neoprene fork leg protection ..

My bike is in now getting fork tubes replaced because of corrosion. Thought the neoprene socks might be the culprit. Of course I have no proof but this is the internet so you don't need any.

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

I used to run K&N filters too. Then saw some studies about how well they actually filtered out the fine dirt. I'm just sticking to the stock one.

    Mitas on the CDR

I haven't been on the CDR, but on other similar rides, the E-07's are great tires. A lot of people don't like the front though, but it's fine for me. TKC80 on the front maybe?

    Homemade Luggage Rack

I agree about hard to find metric bolts. Even in Canada where we've been metric since '78 or so, the local bolt supply place has a scant few available. That was a problem for me and the 4th bolt at the back. Needed a long round head bolt and it wasn't available. So I stacked some nuts on a bolt...

    Front forks chrome peeling

I have a 2015 and I notice a leak on one side of my front forks. Looks like the chrome is peeling in a few spots. Anybody else having this problem? My warranty is up in February so I'm wondering if that will be covered too.

    Brake Bleed

I just flushed mine. To activate the abs, all I did was back up to one end of the garage and give er shit half way across then jump on the front brake hard. I did it 5 or 6 times and you can see by the skid marks that the abs is engaging.

I made the mistake of putting something on the stock plastic crappy rack and it broke off. Altrider rack is $318 in Canada so not happening f@ck you very much Altrider. First I tried a wooden one because I can't weld aluminum and thought it would be worth a try. It worked really well and was...

    russell day long seat info

I got the heated version with the gripper vinyl. I haven't changed the seat angle yet, but I will have to. I did notice that the front edge needs to be taken down a bit and if I change the seat angle, it'll be worse. I know RDL does free adjustments, but it costs me around $100 shipping each way...
