Heated Grip Menu Disappeared from my screen

I've run into this problem with my S10 as well. I'm looking for the fuse, but am not seeing it listed in the owner's manual. I can't imagine there's no fuse for the grip warmers. Could it be the O/P (option) fuse, #12?

2014 Super Tenere fault code deletion. How to...

Some questions about clearing the codes on a 2016. 1. Does the side stand need to be down and the bike in gear? 2. When switching the kill switch on then back off, are we switching it to the RUN position or the START position? 3. How long do we need to hold it in that position? 4. Will there be...

    SCU Fault/Diagnostic Code 89 help

I didn't know the engine needed to be running for preload to work. Once I started the engine it worked fine. I'll still go through and clear the codes and see if anything pops up again.

    SCU Fault/Diagnostic Code 89 help

Tried that. It went through the reset procedure, but still not getting the option when cycling through the menu. I don't know why i didn't think to check the fuse first. I'll do that and report back. Thanks for that image. Is that from the service manual? I couldn't find it in mine.

    SCU Fault/Diagnostic Code 89 help

I've got a 2016 / Gen 2 S10. I went to check / adjust the preload and the option wasn't on the menu. It just cycles back and forth from the info display to the rebound setting (i.e. hard, std, soft) display. (I'm also not getting the grip warmer page, and I think I have some ECU codes too, but...

Withdrawn from Sale: 2016 Super Tenere ES $10,700 - Washington state

I've decided to hang on to her for the time being. I really do love this bike for all the things it does well. I'll keep my eyes open for a smaller dual sport to add to the stable when the time is right. Who knows, I may put her back up for sale down the road, but for now, she'll stay with me.

Withdrawn from Sale: 2016 Super Tenere ES $10,700 - Washington state

Or I could try playing the lottery. A spare $10k would be solid.

Withdrawn from Sale: 2016 Super Tenere ES $10,700 - Washington state

Turnkey S10 ready for whatever adventure your heart desires. As much as I love the S10, it's not the most appropriate bike for my current riding needs. I picked it up about a year ago when I moved from the SF Bay Area to the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Washington. I was expecting I'd be...

    Couple of clutch questions

Well after a considerable delay receiving parts for the clutch master cylinder rebuild and replacing the push rod, I finally got everything done. I've got less than 20k miles and the end of that pushrod had a little divot in it. Here's a pic of the new (left) vs. old (right) pushrod. I'm...

    +1 for Rigid Lights!

One of the reflectors inside one of the Rigid fog / driving lights became loose. I removed the lens to see what was going on, maybe add a little glue. I broke one of the little projector lenses in the process. I emailed Rigid asking if I could purchase a replacement lens. They couldn't do that...

    Couple of clutch questions

Awesome. Thank you. I've looked at some schematics but am still not sure what parts you're referring to. Do you have a link or pic or part number or part name? Thanks!

    Couple of clutch questions

Thanks for the replies. I figured the suggestion would be to change the fluid. Definitely something I can do. I did a search for the skitch schematics, but didn't turn anything up. Are those different then the schematics that I might find on yamaha parts house? In short, what are those wear parts?

    Couple of clutch questions

When the temperature is cold, the clutch engages much closer to the handlebar. After it warms up a bit it's back to normal. I've never experienced this on other motorcycles before. Have others experienced this? I would love if the clutch were a little easier to pull, especially in traffic. Is...

SOLD - Gen 2 Dash Infill Panel

If you have accesories with switches and don't have one of these, you need one. Mine's got switches for fog lights, rear safety flashers, and dual controllers for heated jacket and gloves. It's totally great!

    Looking For A New Bike

I will second what was said. Faulty front brake switch was an issue on older models. The recall addressed that. Also rear brake switch adjustment sometimes plays a role. I just purchased a 2016 S10 3 months ago. It's built like a tank, and is heavy. It's got plenty of power, but not the low end...

    Underwhelming Headlights?

I was finally able to adjust my headlights. They were pointed super low! I had to bring them up by about 6". I bought the bike used, so not sure if a previous owner adjusted it or what, but they're lighting up the road now. The cyclops LEDs should be here in the next day or so.

    Head light adjustment.

5 1/2 years later and this is still helpful. Thanks!
