To satisfy the hooligan in me!

I've done a few hundred miles on it now. Chicken strips have gone and the hero blobs have been kissing the Tarmac. I firmly believe that this bike does what it says on the tin. It's great fun to ride, has amazing torque with predictable and quick steering. Sure, you can upset it, but I can do...

Ah ok. Thanks for that. I'll see what my stealer says about it when I see them next.

To satisfy the hooligan in me!

That's a shame. We haven't had a recall in the UK. I presume it's a different wiring spec. I took my S10 for the headlight harness recently. The dealer has ordered the parts, they stated that it's nothing to worry about and it can be done when the bike is next in for a service.

To satisfy the hooligan in me!

This is a very different bike to my S10 (no kidding). It just give me an opportunity to let my hair down (mot that I've got much) :) One of my reasons for buying the street tracker version, was the black frame (the standard UK bikes don't have this option). The whole effect is very subtle...

I'm just up the road from Ken, near Rushden. Work permitting as usual, I'd be up for a meet.

    New member UK

Hi from Northants. Whilst the s10 is not the quickest bike I've ever owned, it's certainly the most capable and versatile. Have fun.

Are there no Brits on here?

Welcome. Originally from Surrey, now hooning around Northants :-) I changed the seat rubbers to give a flatter angle. It's been fine for me loaded up all around Europe.

    This bike is to slow

Mine runs rings around faster road bikes on bumpy country roads. It's slower on the straights, but any numpty can ride fast in a straight line. Get some rider training and go faster and safer on any bike. It's all relative. The last 15 seconds are the quick passing bit. http://youtu.be/YB-udGm53T4

I'm registered Dave, it's a bit early for me to plan but I'll make every effort to be there.

    Hello from Kent

Welcome from up the road in Northants. I did some of my bike courses in Maidstone when I was based in Surrey. Enjoy the XT. ::003::

    Relocated Puncture Outfit Farkle

I chose the 1120 because the depth would help it fit between the OEM panniers and the rear caliper. I think the 1150 would be a little too large for this application.

    Pelican Case

Just a quick update. With the way I have fitted my box, I have approx 8.5 inches or approx 22cm clearance before anything makes contact.

    Pelican Case

I have not had any of the braking components hit the case, even two up using all of the travel. The box height is smaller than that max height on the inner face, as the lid extends further. The tallest braking components are also on the inside of the box and clear it vertically.
