I thought I will share my DIY weekend project with you all. I have been researching quite a while to do this right. Time will tell if it is ok. I have a switch on the handlebar to switch on and off as required. The wiring was also done on the ignition so no worries with regard to a flat battery.

I had a quick ride of 360 km's up north in Limpopo province South Africa. Did some geocaching during the trip. So much fun.

I flew to Cape Town and on my way back to Johannesburg took delivery of my new Tenere. The 500 km trip home was such fun with three hours of pouring rain to make it more interesting :-).

Today is our second last day of a weeklong trip in Southern South Africa. Extreme hot temperatures, but no problems with the Tenere ! We have done so far 800 km of which 70% were gravel roads in the Karoo. Great fun ! Mosselbay/ Sutherland/ Prins Albert...
