Amsoil 10/40 Metric. After breaking it in with Rotella mineral I've ran Metric in mine for 80,000 + miles. Amsoil's detergent package is top grade. 8)

I think large adventure bikes and especially the Tenere appeal to older, experienced riders. I enjoyed sport bikes in my younger years and couldn't care less about them now. 8)

Got a Mercury and a Challenger, many many miles on both, probably the most bang for the buck out there. Both have been durable and incredibly waterproof not to be Gortex. My ONLY complaint is that they do NOT breath much. 8)

11 days on the road, only one Tenere spotted. Rode from eastern NC to the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia and back. Saw a gray S10 refueling in Sussex NJ on Sun. the 23rd. Was hoping to see more. 8)

Had mine replaced a few days before a coast to coast and back run, 8500 and some odd miles worth. No more rattle, so nice. 8)

Blue Tenere spotted headed north on the northern end of PCH 1 in the redwood forest, I was on the south bound blue Tenere that you waved at. 8)
