Thanks all, that’s helpful. I’ve watched a video online of how to do it and have a vacuum pump to use to bleed. I will order the fluid and do it in a couple of weeks I expect.

Ok, I’ve done the seat mod to add the small rubber bung to the slot at the back, that’s made it pretty stable now and it’s sits securely in the locking mechanism. There is some side to side rocking movement at the rear so I was thinking of adding some long rubber stops to the 2 points at the...

Thanks guys, I’ve given up for the night and will look again tomorrow with fresh eyes. After a bit more playing around with it, when it’s locked in the locking mechanism you can pull it up, with about 1cm play. Will have another look tomorrow!

So, I’ve managed to get it to fit with the seat in the low position (plastic to the rear of the bike). But the high position it just can’t be pushed down far enough even by doing all that you say. I will get the mrs to hold the key turned whilst I try and push, but it should need this much force...
