Has anyone noticed a mileage difference in the radial version vs the bias ply?

Update: The 2013 model has those little grooves where the clamps go, so it's easy to center the bars up. Turns out there weren't exactly centered before and I wasn't even able to tell.

I agree its worth installing the skid plate. 99% chance you're fine, but especially in the southern half, there are some places you don't want to be stranded. I did the MABDR with my 2013 S10 last year, and its a really great experience. You'll have a great time!
