    cleaning spoked wheels and general cleaning tips

    I washed my S10 the other day for the first time. Only six months old. I belong to the school of only wash it when necessary. Anyway, this is the most difficult bike to wash that I have ever owned. And I've owned many in my 50 years of riding. I counted and it has 2,659,374 nooks...

    Default codes and speedhealer and odometer error

    Ah yes. I forgot about that. This bike is too fancy for me. Miles/gal already calculated. Oh well, a little math and that is corrected too. And just think I might accidentally do lousy math and brag about my high gas mileage. :D

    Default codes and speedhealer and odometer error

    Re: Default codes and Speedhealer For me the correct speedometer is most important. The speedometer is large and easy to read, unlike my GPS when in map mode. And I can always readjust the odometer reading in my head when it comes time to do maintenance. For me whether I change oil at 3,000...

    Default codes and speedhealer and odometer error

    Re: Default codes and Speedhealer A little late with this answer but here it is. The odometer is 8.5% slow. The same as the correction that I made for the speedometer. Every 100 miles my odometer only shows 91.5 miles. I did this check with a Garmin 660.

    Default codes and speedhealer and odometer error

    Re: Default codes First I want to thank everyone again for all the help. ::003:: I did FINALLY read all the manual instructions for exiting the diagnostic mode. And followed them to a tee. And they worked. ::014:: I did remove the fuel pump wire (located under the...

    Default codes and speedhealer and odometer error

    Re: Default codes You are EXACTLY right. Read the manual. ::024:: Thanks. I was hoping there was a shortcut. But no luck. I have now read the manual. You left out one step, I think. #2 Disconnect the wire harness coupler from the fuel pump. I will proceed. Thanks to everyone. I...

    Default codes and speedhealer and odometer error

    Re: Default codes No luck. I am assuming that to get into the diagnostic mode I simply turn the key on so the default code is displayed. Then switch the kill switch from on to off and on again. Is this correct? One more piece of the puzzle. My "check engine" light is on too. I had...

    Default codes and speedhealer and odometer error

    A plea for help. I installed a speedhealer. It passes the checkout test. But now my bike will not start. :'( Everything operates. Bike will crank but not start. I have run continuity tests on all connections. Everything checks out okay. I think I know what I did to get the...

    ::..CalSci vs Parabellum screen..::

    I have the CalSci +71/2". I am 6'-3" and sit very tall in the saddle (long waisted). I wish it were 2" taller but then it really would be long and skinny. Much improvement over stock. No buffeting, no back pressure. Quiet. The people at CalSci are the best in the world to work with. Their...
