$1050 from Detroit to Seattle. That was from depot to depot. They also have a home delivery option for more. Bike was there in 4 days.

I used ABF freight from Detroit to Seattle. They have small cubes that work well. You can throw all your gear in it too.

I know I have had to tell some people this before. If you are looking through two lenses that are polarized "example glasses and sun shade" you will get a blackout effect. Hard to explain what it is unless you see it. I get it when looking through a visor at the GPS.

Slight change of plans. Going to leave early Saturday and roll in to Romney that afternoon and camp for the night and find the long way home on Sunday.

Got two planning on being there from Michigan. Not sure if we'll be there late Friday or early Saturday. Depends what time I can sneak out of work.

You have to be careful going back to a big bike. Came up to a pot hole at speed on the tenere and forgot what I was on and almost pulled my arms out of the sockets trying to pull weight off the front.

That was a self loading job. With the tension I had on them they weren't going anywhere. Not a single issue. It was more bracing side to side then up and down. Hooks fit real snug too.

Did it in 15. One thing I wish I had taken was set of brake pads front and rear. If it's wet in any of the dirt it is hell on the pads. If you don't use them they don't take much space.

You should be able to use a 14 bracket on a 12 if you use 14 shields. The difference of the two is the windshield hole spacing. 14 is wider I believe. I had a 14 bike and wanted to put a 12 shield on it with the madstad. Bike mount fit fine. I had to make new brackets to hold shield.

On my 14 I went to do the sync and the right screw was extremely hard to turn. Bike had a few thousand miles on it. Seemed like it had corroded slightly. My 12 had no problems like that.
