Mine came with a 1 inch lowering kit fitted to the bike when i bought it. I would be fine without it but have left it as it is as i can flat foot nicely. The forks have been lowered about 10mm and it handles just fine.

Hello Don no I have not. As far as my enquiries on repacking have gone i understand they need repacking if they get excessively loud or discolour, neither of which mine has, so I am assuming it doesn't need doing, but I can't be 100 per cent sure on that. Cheers Trev.

There are some strange discussions on here sometimes! But for the record I abseil onto mine from a helicopter, it saves all that leg swinging 8)
