Hi if it's any help my view is the bike looks great, handles well enough. I ride a zzr 1400 as well as the Tenere and don't really find the yam lacking in power for what it is and is used for. Is great for long journeys comfortable and reliable. My only issue with the bike is the God awful noise...

Thanks Frez that's just about the same as I have in the back of the yoshimora but with out the holes in the side pipe was wondering if I extended that pipe and or packed some wire wool around it down the Center of the baffles

Been down there before on my 660 xtz but not to the event just for a cuppa in the shop. Im going sat for a look with Rob then move on around wales for a couple of days. Do hope its not a field full of chaps trying to fix there GS's ;-)

The baffle is in it wadding was like new and the end db killer is in but still to loud for me. was thinking of extending the db killer pipe inside the can see if that does anything. steel wool inside the centre baffle maybe

Ive got a Youshimora but its to loud. Bought it second hand, so took it apart to redo the wadding it but its like new inside so put my standard can back on for now. Has anyone any idea how i could just reduce the loudness and still keep the great sound ? if that makes sense.

Well made some spacers to fit the light guard as the "person" has not got back to me, yamaha will not sell the parts. only thing I'm glad about is the "person" has sold there tenere and judging by the box it was sent in, is now ridding a triumph so heres hopping it breaks down "a lot" !!

Yamaha are saying there not sold separately:-( he is going to try and get some if not I've asked for my money back but he does not seem keen on that !! Sounding dodgy to me at the mo.

He said the posts went on the bike when sold. Wish I had just bought a new one.

hello chaps I've just bought a genuine light gaurd of ebay described as "as new, excellent condition" but when it arrives there are no mounting posts so is useless guy says he bought the bike new and did not know the other bits where part of it !. So my question is can you get the posts only...
