Thank's for the input. This is my project this weekend. 1- Cover L/S of the bar & wash the bike to see what happens. 2- Mist the L/S bar. 3- Open switch & evaluate. 4- Post the results!

Yes I agree, water is getting in to the electrical contacts. I am going to mist the L/S of the bar to see if I can duplicate the problem. If this is a unique problem, I would think that it would be covered under YES. I can't believe this UNSAFE condition would be normal but others may have...

Riding along after a light rain I noticed that the R/S signal was on! I kept trying to cancel but it wouldn't stop. After some time they started to work normally. The other day I washed the bike and after sitting for about 10 minutes the R/S signal was on as before! Has anyone had this happen...

Thank's for the feed back, I now don't feel as if I have the only noisy S10. I am able to duplicate the noise by putting it on the center stand in gear. The noise is coming from the side cases. The final drive sounds quiet. I like the thought of putting a video on youtube, I'l work on...

My new S10 gear box makes CLANKING & BANGING noise under2k RPM under a light load in the lower gears. My dealer said that this is NORMAL and that they all do it! This is not acceptable for a new bike. Am I unique or have others had this problem? Not a HAPPY start!
