Just an update for anyone else with this issue. A flathead screwdriver inserted into one of the notches on the nut and a mallet knocked it loose. The outlet is also definitely keyed.

Hi! I've dug through the forum and haven't been able to find this info. Trying to wire in some supplemental brake lights and I'm having difficulty finding the right wires to tap into. I've got a black/blue stripe and black on the left side. Is that it? TIA!

I'm trying to upgrade the stock outlet but having a helluva time getting a wrench in there to loosen the nut Any tips on a particular tool/method to use? TIA

That was earlier in my trip. Actually ended up being 36 days camping out of 42 days on the road. :) You definitely get used to it. Showers were pretty scarce though.

25 days straight camping. All gear except for a foam sleeping pad is in the boxes. All actual camping gear is in the left Solobox.

I've been using a Pelican 1300 with Cortech mount for several years with no problem. It looks a little funky but it's very functional, watertight, and easily removable. I also ride on my pegs quite a bit and it hasn't been in the way for me.

I've also been using these for several years and have been very happy with them. A great addition to heated grips for the cooler seasons.

Plan to leave on a 4000 mile roadtrip on Friday. So I did an oil change today...and managed to strip the oil pan. On examination, the previous owner had already stripped it and retapped it for a 14mm bolt. Looking for advice on best & quickest repair which hopefully doesn't involve replacing...
