    Waterproof jeans

Anyone use waterproof jeans? I’ve got some Triumph jeans I’ve been using for a few years and having recently got caught out in a shower I thought I’d look at waterproof ones. I’ve seen some showerproof ones from JTS at a great price of £109 but they are only showerproof until the treatment has...

    pitted rear rim

It's been accepted as a warranty claim so now I just wait for the rim to turn up. :)

    metal valve stems

I won’t be filing that flange and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else should either. I think the best solution here is to go for one of the systems that strap the sender to the inside of the rim.

    pitted rear rim

Boris, I’d have done you a coffee cheaper :) That rust around the bung is exactly the same on mine and guess what? They’ve never seen it before. I’ve now put ACF50 in there.

    pitted rear rim

It’s definitely corrosion of the Ali that’s coming through the finish on the rim. I will be having a chat with my local dealer to get it sorted. I’ve already made them aware of rust showing around one of the rubber bungs in the frame.

    pitted rear rim

I only ride on the road. This is not a localised mark from a stone it's all the way around the rim on both sides.

    metal valve stems

After having a high speed blow out on a goldwing I was determined to fit Garmin pressure caps on my S10. They work with the satnav. Any new bike I buy now will have to have them. Garmin say you must not fit their caps to rubber stems. Of course the considered opinion is 'that's a load of crap...

    pitted rear rim

Hi I've not been on here for a while, I've been riding the bike. New December 2016 S10 ES, now done 20K miles. Absolutely loving the bike and got used to it's jurky low speed fueling. I ride all year round and meticulously wash it down after every winter ride. It gets wiped over and ACF50...

    toratech zega pro rails wanted

No luck with this. Does anyone know of anywhere to buy Touratech stuff at discounted prices? I've been on their German webshop and the same rails are £64 cheaper but you can't order from the UK. Is there a way around this? I'm guessing the shipping cost will kill it anyway as they are free...

    toratech zega pro rails wanted

No, I've bought Zega pro panniers and just need the rails now. Dented ones would be better than nothing though :))

    toratech zega pro rails wanted

Has anyone got pannier rails for the Touratech Zega Pro's that they want to sell? I've just aquired the panniers and mounting kit and now I need the racks that fit to the bike.

    NRR??

Take a look at this link https://www.nationalroadrally.co.uk/2017/history.php You can make it as easy or as difficult as you like. I took on an overnight one with 3 others but I wasn't well and had to abandon it. This year I want to put that right. If anyone else is up for it let me know.

Is anyone doing the National road rally? If not does anyone want to get an S10 team together? It's the first weekend in July.

not all the gears in the box!!

Well for me this is a good case to blame 'Yammie' It's done less than 2k miles!! Obviously never lubed at first build. It got through PDI. It was serviced early by supplying dealer at 250 miles and obviously not lubed. It was serviced again at my request at 900 miles and obviously not lubed. I'm...

not all the gears in the box!!

It's fixed ::012:: It turned out to be a corroded pivot bolt. The lever seemed to be moving freely but it didn't quite return to it's resting position. This meant it couldn't select the next gear. Cleaned and lubed it changes gear slicker than it ever did. Thanks to Flitwick Motorcycles for...
