I've always likened riding the Tenere offroad to riding a rhinoceros. The first couple of rides scare the crap out of ya. But once you learn to relax, just hold on and let the beast plow through the ruff stuff. I love this thing offroad! ::018::

I have a Hennessy Explorer wih the Super Shelter and Hex tarp. With this setup and a down bag I'm good down to freezing. Can't imagine ever sleeping in a tent again.

That would be the motor they should throw in the KLR. The cast rims and wheel size are a big reason I don't ride the versys. The ergos don't work for me as well. The most comfortable bike I've ever owned was the KLR with a Russell on it.

Many KLR enthusiasts, myself included, would love to have a simple fuel injected KLR 650 twin.
