I'm 6'6" and 34" inseam. I did put 1" up and back risers on the bars and a taller windshield . That's about it. I too have a bad knee but just have to shake it out occasionally.
I mounted mine under the Altrider rack. Made some longer stand offs and a bracket or two.
Spent a few day's bouncing around Death Valley a couple weekends ago and they worked as planned
Needed a little more height on my rack so I threw an aluminum rod in the lathe and made a couple spacers.
A bit of paint and some longer flat head screws and its done.
