Hello again, I recorded a new video. There is a distinct sound coming from the engine right above brake pedal on cold start or after the bike sat for 1 hour or so. This disappears when once the engine reaches a certain temperature. Is it normal?

Nice project mate! I'd like to see those photos if you still have them! It's a bit to invasive for my taste and I wouldn't trust myself to undertake something like this! I think I would either try to replace the button or the casing if I can't figure a way to restore it.

Hmm, I have a similar play on my bike and also some mechanical tick if I move the tire but I didn't consider it as unusual. I am a noob on these matters tho :)
