Is there any update on the redesign of the pannier racks to eliminate the tilted and splaying-out issues.? Been waiting a long thime so I could buy from our sponsor TT, but getting tired of waiting.

Looks like a fun ride for a day. Good exploring and good scenery. The Versys can do more than your tires would let you doo. Tire limited for sure. Just watch out you don't hit any of those big steel trees on that gravel road!

I have 20,000 miles on my Balance Oiled, but my pegs are not that agressive. I have a ruber insert on my 1200 GS Adventure and the pegs don't dig in. I can see NO wear on the soles but the soles are sewn-on and are replacable. I wear size 15 and was able to special order from a shop in AZ.

My concern is about sustainability for our bikes. If they only sold 1,000 they may not ever have them as a dealer stocked bike. My uninformed (based on non-motor vehicle market) estimated cost for US EPA/DOT and CARB Certification is >~$300K. They need to sell ~3000 units to make up for that.
