Northwest Scotland / islands jubilee week, maybe another trip to norway later in the year if time & budget allows
sorry to hear that. Hope you’re on the mend and up and about soon.Despite my plans for Ireland in 2 weeks time and Romania in summer, I’m going nowhere this year thanks to some muppet pulling a u turn 10 metres in front of me on Saturday and wiping me out.
My bikes a mess - at least what I saw of it, I’m not much better with a fractured spine and wrist - but I’m alive and the bike can be replaced
Cheers Boris I’m told 3-6 months to heal to 90% of what I wassorry to hear that. Hope you’re on the mend and up and about soon.

Thanks. Do you have a link to a website or other info for the rally? That is absolutely the best way to travel, I'm envious.
Canadian north has fantastic scenery and if you've never been there I'd highly recommend it.
The 10th international Super Tenere rally will be in Whitehorse July 8-10, it would be great to meet you there.
But if this is your solo ride unencumbered with dates and places and people then you do you.
I think the 3-6 months is optimistic, especially at our age. My kid had less serious injuries, and took 6 months. But I would expect a more complete recovery. Make sure you do all of your rehab; it's the key. Good luck.Cheers Boris I’m told 3-6 months to heal to 90% of what I was
Thanks Sierra, I don’t think what they meant was I’ll only make a 90% recovery, rather it’s a case of 90% reasonably quickly and the last 10% is a bit of a slog.I think the 3-6 months is optimistic, especially at our age. That's where the rehab comes in. I learned with my kid that rehab gets your range of motion back. If you don't, you'll have pain when you walk from here on.. . . . the last 10% is a bit of a slog. . . .
It's the top thread in the Events folder of this forum. Note there has been a date change.Thanks. Do you have a link to a website or other info for the rally?
All the best Rob and a speedy full recoveryDespite my plans for Ireland in 2 weeks time and Romania in summer, I’m going nowhere this year thanks to some muppet pulling a u turn 10 metres in front of me on Saturday and wiping me out.
