Okay, good to hear they act professional.
Update: Problem Solved! It seems one cannot power the HIDs from a Neutrino power distribution module. Connecting the main power lead to the battery instead, every works. I did not suspect the Neutrino because the advertise having one high amp circuit specifically for things like HIDs. The digital breaker wasn’t tripped but it would just not allow the bulbs to ignite. Good to go!

Was concerned to hear that S10's aren't shipping in the EU this year and hope that won't apply to us anytime soon. Took the precaution and got a 2021. Traded the 2012 and 2014 for it. With OEM bars, panniers, and skid plate these bikes have never let me down. A new one with Y.E.S. will suit me just fine. Never need a bike other than this one for my purposes.

Engine Oil/Filter change, and final-drive fluid change.

View attachment 82117

Also installed a "Bulkhead Port" to run 12-volts into my right-side Bumot Case.

The 12-volt lead comes out under the Seat on the right side.

Plugged-in.

Capped-off.

Now I can charge GoPro batteries, or various other USB or 12-volt accessories while they remain safely locked away.
The Case will still remain weatherproof.

Hi Rob,
This is the one that I have.

Pretty much any "SAE to USB" adapter will work.
I actually have 2 of them. One goes in my Tank-Bag to charge my phone. The other one will go in the Bumot Case to charge my battery-bank and GoPro batteries.

Yes, we like to go down to Cannery Row for motorcycle night. They close the whole street to cars. There's also some kind of motorcycle gathering/celebration in Pacific Grove Friday night. Food, vendors, music, motorcycles, etc.. Finally on Sunday after the last race, It will usually get dark about an hour before I get home. I live about 300 miles from Laguna Seca. During summer this is about the most riding I do at night. I was just not happy with the LEDs I've tried and they don't seem to do well when fully enclosed without their fans or heat sinks externalized. The projector housings are an ideal design for HID lights.

Brought a new 2021 into the garage today. Ogled over it for 5 minutes and got down to the business of enabling it with essential (to me) farkles.
FZ1 fuzeblock for switched and unswitched circuits
SW motech GPS accessory bar mount and wiring for zumo 396
Altrider u-joint guard
Oversized kickstand pad
Novsight LED lamps & extended caps
LED auxiliary bulbs
LED tailight/license bulb
PIAA horn
USB charger/voltmeter lighter socket replacement
Control line repositioning for ROX risers install
Rigid Industries LED SR series pro driving light bar and handlebar switch
Battery tender pigtail
Mounting anchors for Kriega bags
Famsa tank bag
OEM bars, skid plate, and panniers dealer installed

Now for the most nerve-racking and patience defying task in all motorcycledom... Break in.

Big thanks to Shane, John and Chris from Sportline Motorsports and Adirondack Haulers in Queesnbury, NY!

Well, yesterday not today, but got a chance to test out the Morimoto HIDs I installed on the way home from Laguna Seca last night. Wow, phenomenal difference to all the LEDs and OEM bulbs I've tried. Nice even flood of light in front of me. On a narrow 2-lane backroad (CA 154) with no lighting I was so much more comfortable with what I could see. I did not get flashed from any oncoming traffic, so I think the aim is pretty close to were it needs to be. Due to the extreme drought here in SoCal and the tinder-like dryness of the surrounding brush, I refrained from trying out the high beams...;)

A buddy of mine melted/craqueléed the headlights of his Tuono FactoryR with a pair of HID’s. How do you feel about yours?

That surprises me for my understanding is that HID bulbs actually run cooler than the incandescent bulbs which are OEM? They also pull fewer amps (rated at 35W instead of 55W per bulb for the OEMs). I've used these HID kits in other cars and bikes and never burned or melted anything. Also there are others, specifically Tobasco with extensive experience with HIDs in the Super Tenere.

Here’s the picture, don’t pay attention to the long scratch. Not relevant, but you can see the craquelé very well. I haven’t got any further experience so that’s why I asked. Thinking to do it on mine too, not sure yet. He put in OEM bulbs, didn’t happen again.

I see the long scratch, and I also see an "X" near the upper end of the scratch but that does not actually look like crack to me? Looks like something molded in?
