Old skool roolz!I used the empty space under the pillion seat, theres useful stash space there
Yep, Givi fitting kit, haven't had it hit the caliper it is close but even loaded and through green lanes not an issue, I have details for a mounting plate I intend doing over the next couple of months, will update this when done.Is that fitted with the givi fitting kit ? I considered this but I would have to remove the grab handles and the Givi racks to access it.I used the empty space under the pillion seat, theres useful stash space there
I've cut a slot in the base so I can remove it without taking the handles or my Touratech racks off. Can't get a massive amount of stuff under there but its a useful space.I considered this but I would have to remove the grab handles and the Givi racks to access it.

I cut the plastic cover so it slips over the grab handles without having to take them off. The cover is secured with 4x cut down mountain bike QR axles. There's not a huge space but big enough for 4x standard tool kits, 5 if you're a creative packer.I considered this but I would have to remove the grab handles and the Givi racks to access it.
Do you have a link to that conversation??View attachment 77286Thanks to another member on here, I had a bracket made for the Givi toolbox. The bracket moves the toolbox higher up so it is farther way from the brake caliper.
Could you post a pic of what it looks like? I am thinking of doing this myself but I want to see it before I do it.I've cut a slot in the base so I can remove it without taking the handles or my Touratech racks off. Can't get a massive amount of stuff under there but its a useful space.

It's difficult to get a pic as the Touratech racks cover most of it. Next time I take the seat off I'll get a better one.Could you post a pic of what it looks like? I am thinking of doing this myself but I want to see it before I do it.
