Hey everyone,
Last year i had my tenere stolen, it came back to me with a grinded off key cylinder. The bike can be turned on with a screw driver but wont start because the transponder reader for the key is smashed. Im wondering as a cheap fix for the time being can i somehow run alligator clips from the wiring that leads up to the key immobilizer around the stock key back to create a loop. is there anyway i can make a jerry rigged system so that the ecu can detect the old key even though the key cylinder has been damaged.
