I get your meaning but am sure no T700s will sell for $5500-$6000.The KLR will soon be forgotten.
True, and the next generation KLR, if one comes out, won’t be near that old price either I’ll bet.I get your meaning but am sure no T700s will sell for $5500-$6000.
I do think you would see it in the US, but you're probably right about the timing. It is not going to be a world market bike excluding the US as there are too many choices in those markets for Yamaha to solely rely on the sales numbers to add up. As with most things today, being global, launch dates maybe be the same world-wide, days of patience and drooling for today's ' now culture' is over and too right!Based on the video of the 5 riders, and of course Yamaha's history, I suspect we're not going to be seeing this in the US for at least another year or two, if ever. Of course I'd love to be wrong about that.
Wouldn't mind something lively to replace my DR650 trail couch.
Plenty out there that are TL. Shinko 804/805, tkc 80s, Mitas E08 (Not really a knobby), just look for the TL designation on the tire.I was searching for 21 inch tubless knobbies recently and didn't find much.
Sounds like maybe Fred has the Orange Electronics system? It’s sold by rrrtoolsolutions.com. Gordon, the proprietor, is a member in the forum here. I’m happy with my system and moreover with Gordon’s customer service.

Thanks, Greg. Never heard of the TL designation, but I'll search for that.Plenty out there that are TL. Shinko 804/805, tkc 80s, Mitas E08 (Not really a knobby), just look for the TL designation on the tire.
i don't think yamaha will make this bike with tubless rims. Its meant to be beat on. The first good hit, the rim will bend and not hold air on the bead...step in good old tubes. total PITA when you need to change them, but good for what they are made for.
I did this with my AT. All tubless now:
