I have used Tucono mitts since 2005 when I had a BMW GS1150R but sadly, I couldn’t persuade the Tuconos to fit over the chunkier switchgear of the Super Ten, so after reading the recommendations for the Barkbusters on here, I have got myself a pair. looking forward to toasty and dry hands through the winter!i've been using mitts for years on various types of street and dirt bikes, kept my hands dry and warm, expecially with grip heaters. don't like heavy gauntlets, so this my choice.
Cycledude....you are tougher than me! I will hang it up when the snow starts stickingWell I realize this thread is nearly three years old but I’m wondering what some of you experienced folks now have to say about these devices ? I am seriously considering buying a set for use on the Tenere, seems like they would be great for the cold wet weather which I’ve ridden in a lot lately .

I'm getting the Hippo Hands this winter. I'm sick of being cold!! Every season it's the same crap. I go to the desert or mountains with nothing more than latex gloves under my riding gloves and crappy tee shirts layered under cheap riding gear. I freeze my ass off and end up stopping and shoving my hands behind the exhaust to warm them. I have worn my Klim polyester base layer, inversion gloves, and Stow Away jacket. They do help somewhat but I'm not as tough as I used to be.Well I realize this thread is nearly three years old but I’m wondering what some of you experienced folks now have to say about these devices ? I just did a few hundred miles with these yesterday and think they will work fine with heated grips.Yes I cannot recommend the OBR ADV Enduro mitts highly enough for the Tenere or any other bike with handguards installed. Dang near a custom fit, no wonder they show a S10 in their photos. Surely a personal bike of the owner or employee and used in the design of them. Super strong and high quality cordura construction with reflective strips sewn in. Not restrictive at all, I stand very frequently on my bike and doesn't conflict. My last ride this month it dropped into the 30's so I spent the 5 minutes and installed these for the season. Doesn't get any easier than that. They kept my hands warmer and gloves dry but didn't protect my jacket or bike. Lol

It looks like a very secure setup. Thank you for the pictures. I still think I will go with the Hippo Hands for my application. Just because of not having to bolt on and off to install and remove.OK, here's the rider's eye view of the Barkbusters.
