Any one noticed the prices on this site have taken a serious price rise? I was setting up an order on monday and when i went to order today its all went up big time,So will hold of for a while

Hi,
I think the rise is permanent, thanks to George Osbourne. There was a tax loophole that allowed companies in the Channel Islands to sell without VAT into the UK. Hence all the prices at Yamabits were UK prices less the VAT.
I believe this loophole is now closed, also meaning Amazon can't sell us cheap CDs posted from Jersey either.
I may be wrong, but I believe this is the case.

Wow, you're right. I ordered a week ago, and now the same bits are 14 GBP higher.
Of course, I haven't heard a word from yamabits about whether my order was received, fulfilled, or shipped out yet. ::010:: ::010::
