What is an XIED? IT is a simple 2-plug harness that connects to the O2 sensor wire with one end and the ECM with the other. The device voltage divides the O2 signal so the bike run a bit fatter (like adjusting the CO levels but it works at all closed loop conditions). I have used these on Harleys with great success and the bikes stumble less and runs with less heat. A bit fatter mixture will ping less so the need for premium fuel is less. No exhaust changes needed.

A pair of XIED is around $100 and they can be easily removed when you go in for service.
