Keep asking and pleading with your dealer and corporate. That's the only chance we have.
Australia and New Zealand have had it for a while BUT they aren't America where people lack personal responsibility and demand long warranty periods. The WR doesn't pencil out financially here.
I do keep the pressure on though in hopes we get one some day.

Wow!

That first video is well done. That's how you market with that medium.
Took 20 years off in my mind. Lol

Love to see it here. Now that I finally have my WR250 setup it's not a slam dunk that I would immediately buy the 450. I suspect it would eventually make it to my barn. If it would have been available before I had the 250 it would have been a no brainer for the 450.

That was the bike I wanted when I bought the Tenere. Of course, living in AZ I could buy a WR450 and get it plated for street use...

That's the single I'm waiting on. I have dreams of a giant loop across the back, retirement and the TAT and other BDRs. My Ten is my tourer (dirt roads too) and it's opened my eyes to the good work and remote rides that others have blazed. I hope I live long enough to enjoy some.

I sent the videos in a E-mail to my Dealer and asked him to order me one. LOL

This was his response:

I have never understood the thinking why certain models don't get distributed to the USA. I hope they bring it as well.
Thanks for the video. I will forward it to our DM

By the way he rides a WR-450.

Must get good MPG with that tank, he made it half way around the world with it. :D
But he didn't make it to Moab, that would have been to suggestive..

I had my 1998 WR400 street legal in Michigan. That was a great dirt bike, but a pretty crummy street bike. It worked well for my purposes.

+1 to that. I had to have my 450 "street legal" for the types of events we ran. It wasn't very happy on the road.
