Installed my 1.5" bar risers yesterday.. WOW... what a difference!! The ride position is even better now sitting.. My hands are obviolsly higher and my back is more up right. I left work at 12:00 AM last night, that gave me an opportunity to stand up on the pegs almost all the way home...... Standing on this bike as your moving is a dream. Best mod for comfort so far !!!! Love this bike more everyday !!!! :p

By the way, we just ironed out an exclusive deal for longer custom front brake, and clutch lines for the higher bar applications.. Direct factory bolt on including new banjo bolts and crush washers. Pictures and prices should be on the web site by the weekend.. Feel free to write or PM with any questions..

Is there enough room for the cables when the bars are full right and left? Which risers di you get?

Yes there is enough room.. Mine are just shy of 1.5"... I got them from Rocky Mt ATV for $20.00... I will probably end up adding the new brake and clutch just to give it a bit more room... And the guys that have 2"- 2.5" risers will have no problem adding those if they like with the new cables..

The new, longer cables will work out nicely. I have the ROX risers and the cables are OK, but they are tight at full-lock.

i put one inch risers on mine for about ten days (i had them in the garage) but took them off again last week and now im happy again, risers gave me roll back and i started slouching as i was leaning back now, i like a bit of weight on my hands it takes it off my butt!

I put Rox Riser Pro Blocks on my bike and was happy but it still wasn't enough. I'm 6'2" and had the seat in the tall position with an AirHawk cushion which adds a little height. I wanted the bars higher but wasn't going to raise them anymore than I already had. So I thought, why not bring myself down. So I set the seat to the lower position and did the tilt-back mod and what an incredible difference, it absolutely transformed the bike for me. It seems counter-intuitive to me to set the seat in the lower position but it worked. The bars at are a nice level and even though my legs are more bent, it actually forces a more comfortable posture for my lower back.

I notices EXACTLY the same thing!! I had the seat in the high position (I'm 6' tall) and although it gave me more leg room, the overall ergos were worse for my back. I put the seat in the lower position and as you said less leg room, but overall much more comfortable position. I actually did it in desperation as I was in too much pain. I was shocked at the results!

OK, so it's not just me. I'm 6' tall with 34" inseam. I started off with the seat in the high position, figuring it was fine with my leg length, but it was a real "on top of the bike" sensation. My WR has a 36" seat height that doesn't bother me at all, especially with the rider sag set correctly. With the S-10 seat in the low position, I feel more "in the bike", a better blended position, and not leg cramped at all. Either way the seat is corrected for tilt. The lower position rider seat is better for my passenger, easier for her to see over my head.
