I got this idea from one of the threads where the guy built (ok, overbuilt) his own extra gas tank and he had a flashlight mounted on his bag. When I came across this Impact Blue flashlight I just knew I had to mount it.

Shoot, they've been making Maglites to match my bike for years in anticipation. ::025:: ::025:: ::025::

However, that looks great and accents an already good looking bike!

Yeah, and Ford made model T's to match too. How exciting is that? ::015::

No problem! I actually like the Blue a lot, I just enjoy teasing Rod whenever I can. ::003::

Yup, just shows that 'Ol Henry also knew what he was doing over a hundred years ago. ::015::

I DO have a complaint about the Black Tenere, though. In the sunlight, the metallic they added makes the bike look dusty all of the time. Being a Black purist and "Founder of the Chromatically Challenged Society" (I LIKE that, Freebird, thanks!) , I would have preferred a solid non-metallic black instead. There, I have bared my soul, I been set FREEEEEEEE!

Just remember..."Once you GO BLACK, you'll never be blue"

Yep, that's exactly the case with the Raven black I had on my FJR. Still, a nice color.

all of my mag lights are black. They have to be. :D I will definitely add a blue one to my bike for my arctic circle trip!

It also happens to be one of the new LED models. I am hopeful that it withstands the bumps vs. the filament bulbs.

That rocks! Nothing's worse that having a crappy flashlight when you really need one.

Also, since it'll be light all the time up in the Yukon, we can use that one to fend off bear if needed. :)

Funny...that realization came to me after I got done admiring my work. ::010::

Believe me I will find some obscure use to justify the expense and installation time. ::019::
